Banks: 6 straight down weeks; lagging the S&P on 18 of 21 days is ~1 in 1,340 by coin flip

The KBW Bank Index of 24 big US banks is headed for a sixth straight weekly loss, its longest losing streak since 2008, per Bloomberg. It's down 13% from its August record.

Barclays found it lagged the S&P 500 on 18 of the 21 sessions after the Fed's Sept. 16 rate hike. If each day were a coin flip, 18+ of 21 happens about 1 in 1,340 times. That's a trend.
