Dow -1.23% vs S&P -0.52% on oil spike: Dow fell 2.4x as hard, Brent-WTI gap $13.45

The Dow fell 653 points (1.23%) to 52,215 today as Brent crude jumped 3.1% to $116.72 after Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia.

The Dow fell 2.4x as hard as the S&P 500 (down 0.52%) and the Nasdaq barely moved. An oil day more than a tech day. With the Fed and Big Tech earnings next week, $117 oil is my number to watch.
