$AXGN rose 28.2% on a Q3 beat while the S&P 500 added 0.21% and the Nasdaq edged up 0.03%. The movers were driven by individual earnings.
- AXGN: Q3 revenue was $75.8M, up 26.1% Y/Y. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.21 beat estimates. FY2026 revenue guidance of at least $290M compares with $285.6M consensus.
- EVR rose 12.4% after Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $4.28 against a $2.48 estimate. ICLR gained 12.1% as investors reacted to Tuesday's report, which showed bookings up 26.9% to $3.79B.
- LPLA fell 13.6% after Q3 reset expectations for the Commonwealth acquisition. CHRW dropped 11.7% to a 52-week low despite beating estimates, and CBRS slid 9.3% on Culper Research's short disclosure.
- AVGO rose 1.7% and topped the most-active list during an AI-chip rally. Semis averaged +1.59%. Financials led sectors at +0.92%, while Utilities lagged at -0.8% with 9 of 10 down.
Beats and misses split sharply within the same sectors. With the Fed decision still ahead, the question is whether stock-specific dispersion outlasts the macro catalyst.
