Nikkei 225 in a bear market at 57,434.77: needs about a 26.8% rally to get back to its June record
Japan's Nikkei 225 fell 6% on Friday to 57,434.77, 21.1% below its June record and officially a bear market.
Getting back to 72,831.73 now takes a 26.8% rally. Only 3 of the 225 stocks rose on Friday, so nobody gets to call this a stock picker's market.
