Snap Q3: drops daily users as its headline metric even though DAU/MAU held at ~50.7%; North America lost 6M daily users since mid-2025

Snap (SNAP) reported Q3 after Wednesday's close: revenue up 14% to $1.72B, a $56M profit and 495M daily users vs 499M expected. It will stop reporting daily users in 2027.

Daily users are 50.7% of monthly users vs 50.6% a year ago. The ratio is fine. North America fell from 98M to 92M daily users and that is the number going away. Not financial advice.
