Western Digital: $5.80 Q2 EPS guide annualizes to $23.20, ~15x at $354

Western Digital (WDC) reported fiscal Q1 after the close Thursday: revenue up 55% to $4.38B, plus a guide of $5.1B and $5.80 EPS for next quarter. The stock fell 6.4% in the session to $354.

Annualize that guide and you get $23.20 of EPS, so $354 is about 15x forward earnings for a business running 49% operating margins. Looks like the market is pricing in a storage peak.
