India's Nifty 50 +8.58% week: FPIs bought a record ~$4.9B and DIIs sold about 53% of it back
India's Nifty 50 rose 8.58% last week, its best week since early 2021, while tech-heavy Asian markets sold off on AI worries.
Foreign investors bought a record ₹45,960 crore (about $4.9 billion) and domestic institutions sold ₹24,197 crore, roughly 53% of it right back to them. Being light on AI stocks turned out to be a feature for once.
