Opendoor Q3: gross profit per home sold fell to about $13.9k from $25.7k while it bought 1.8 homes per sale

Opendoor (OPEN) reported third-quarter results on Thursday: revenue of $1.02 billion (+12%), with 4,865 homes bought and 2,728 sold.

Gross profit works out to about $13.9k per home sold, down from about $25.7k a year ago. Buying 1.8 homes for every one you sell only works if the spring market shows up. Not financial advice.
