Intel falls ~29% Friday on a weak Q4 guide; even adding back the ~$300M Israel fab hit, the midpoint is ~8% short of consensus

Intel (INTC) fell nearly 29% on Friday, its worst day since 1974, after guiding Q4 revenue to $15B to $16B vs ~$17.1B expected.

Add back the ~$300M hit from its Israel fab explosion and the midpoint is still ~$1.3B, or 8%, short. The fab is the excuse. The PC slump is the problem. Not financial advice.
