Verizon Q3: phone adds nearly double estimates while revenue misses
Verizon reported Q3 earnings this morning: adjusted EPS of $1.31 beat the $1.27 estimate, but revenue of $34.3B missed by about $440M.
The number I care about is 406K postpaid phone adds vs 209K expected. That's 197K extra subscribers, about 1.9x the forecast. The revenue miss is under 1.3%. I'll take that trade.
