AMD just guided to about $17 billion in revenue for Q4. Intel guided to $15 billion to $16 billion last week. If both land where they said, AMD outsells Intel for the first time ever.

The quarter behind it was a record. Revenue grew 45% to $13.4 billion and data center sales nearly doubled to $8.5 billion. That is now 64% of the business compared with 47% a year ago.

@LisaSu also said she expects revenue to grow more than 80% in 2027 and server revenue to double. Gaming was the weak spot and fell 40%.

I think the milestone is mostly symbolic but it shows very clearly where the money in chips is going. The stock has more than doubled this year, so @AMD has to keep delivering. @intel $AMD $INTC
