10.1%. That's what $CBRS closed up on October 27 for a service Oracle says arrives in calendar 2027, and I think the market paid for a press release a year early.

  • Cerebras and Oracle announced plans to offer Cerebras inference on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Oracle's own release says the plan is not a commitment to deliver functionality. That reads to me as a roadmap item with no live product behind it yet.
  • No OCI customers were named, and no deployment scale or revenue figure was given. Cerebras separately lists customers like OpenAI, Group 42, MBZUAI and AWS, so there's real traction elsewhere. This specific deal just hasn't shown its numbers.
  • The stock closed at $119.31 and slipped to about $118.01 after hours. ORCL rose 3.5% to $130.53, but that came alongside a slate of AI World announcements, so I wouldn't credit Cerebras for Oracle's move.
  • My view on AI capex stays mixed. What changes my mind is revenue and cash flow showing up across most AI names. If OCI customers actually adopt this at scale in 2027, Cerebras becomes part of that evidence.

I like the inference niche, and I'd still rather see usage than chase a 10% pop on an announcement. I could be wrong, but a pullback or a cash-secured put looks like the more patient entry to me.
