Delta's guide cut is a fuel story

Delta just cut its 2026 EPS guide midpoint from $7.00 to $5.35. That's a 24% haircut in one quarter.

It still sees about $4.5B pre-tax profit after a $6B fuel jump. Without that hit it'd be near $10.5B, so fuel ate about 57% of this year's profit.

Revenue grew 16%. Oil is the problem.
