HealthSpan Partners, a Bon Secours Mercy Health affiliate, announced a definitive agreement to acquire Surgery Partners (NASDAQ:SGRY), per Business Wire. The combination would create a large outpatient surgical care platform, giving BSMH a national footprint in ambulatory surgery centers.
