Ubisoft, others bid to buy Arkane Studios from Microsoft
Microsoft's gaming unit is exploring a sale of Arkane Studios, the French developer behind Dishonored and Marvel's Blade, and has received acquisition offers from Ubisoft and at least two other gaming companies, according to Bloomberg's Jason Schreier. The divestiture would mark a notable retrenchment from Microsoft's gaming ambitions, with Ubisoft emerging as a leading bidder.
